Superb photo of a fiery red-haired girl seconds ago from snorting a big pile of something. It might be coke, speed, K or any other crystal form drugs. Or plain sugar/flower for the photoshoot. Guess we’ll never know that for sure :)

Cop eats pot brownies, freaks out and calls 911

•16 January 2009 • 6 Comments

I just love it. America’s war on drugs is in fact a war with it’s own people and the latest victim was a cop that confiscated some pot and baked it into brownies with his wife. Then he ate a little bit too much and he thought he was dying from an overdose therefore called 911. Imagine you are overdosing and feel like dying , but still able to call 911 and explain your situation. Hilarious!

Famous Drug Quotes

•3 May 2008 • 52 Comments

I collected these drug-related quotes while surfing the web. They might not be that many, but they sure are the best :D They are also sorted so you’ll read the short and good ones at the end :P

UPDATE: I’m updating this post because I received a nice feedback on this topic from some cool people. They sent me a few new drug related quotes and it would be a great shame not to share it with you guys. The new ones can be found right below (I have bolded them to stand out from the rest. Red ones have been added July 2010). Thank you!

I prefer to have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. … Dorothy Parker.

Reality is a crutch for people who can’t cope with drugs.

You are like heroine. Even when your hurting me, I still need you.

Do not drink and drive, smoke weed and fly!

I feel sorry for people who don’t drink. They wake up in the morning and that’s the best they’re going to feel all day.

If time is subjective, and life is truly a tapestry of little squares of moments of clarity, drugs are the space in between those squares.

Ever try to have a conversation with someone on drugs? It just doesn’t work… … Frank Zappa

A drug is not bad. A drug is a chemical compound. The problem comes in when people who take drugs treat them like a licence to behave like an asshole. … Frank Zappa

I knew Jimi (Hendrix) and I think that the best thing you could say about Jimi was: there was a person who shouldn’t use drugs. … Frank Zappa

I used to have a drug problem…..now I make enough money. … David Lee Roth

See I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do and if you don’t believe drugs have done good things for us do me a favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cds and burn ‘em. ’cause you know the musicians who made all that great music that’s enhanced your lives throughout the years…. rrrrrrrrreal fuckin’ high on drugs. … Bill Hicks

God is what we long for. Time is what we fear. Drugs are everything else. … personal quote of ozzyslag

More so than the sum of our experiences, the worth of hallucinogens to the healthy, intellectual mind outweighs all other lucid existence. … personal quote of ozzyslag

If addiction is judged by how long a dumb animal will sit pressing a lever to get a ‘fix’ of something, to its own detriment, then I would conclude that netnews is far more addictive than cocaine. … Rob Stampfli

Anyway, no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we’re looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn’t test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power. … P.J. O’Rourke

Did you know America ranks the lowest in education but the highest in drug use? It’s nice to be number one, but we can fix that. All we need to do is start the war on education. If it’s anywhere near as successful as our war on drugs, in no time we’ll all be hooked on phonics. … Leighann Lord

It is difficult to live without opium after having known it because it is difficult, after knowing opium, to take earth seriously. And unless one is a saint, it is difficult to live without taking earth seriously. … Jean Cocteau

I will lift mine eyes unto the pills. Almost everyone takes them, from the humble aspirin to the multi-coloured, king-sized three deckers, which put you to sleep, wake you up, stimulate and soothe you all in one. It is an age of pills. … Malcolm Muggeridge, 1962

Pharmaceutical companies will soon rule the world if we keep letting them believe we are a happy, functional society so long as all the women are on Prozac, all children on Ritalin, and all men on Viagra. … The Quote Garden

Slut Machine

•22 February 2008 • 13 Comments

This just a small part of photographer’s Nikola Tamindzic work. His art can be found under his website named Home of the Vain. Be sure to visit it for more hars and authentic nightlife photography with everything it includes.

Slut Machine

“Born in Belgrade in 1973, Nikola Tamindzic established his reputation when he started shooting nightlife reportage for Nick Denton’s notorious Gawker in 2004. The photo galleries fused Gawker’s irreverent editorial vision with Tamindzic’s photographic talents to present the faces of the time in a less mediated way. Today, he lives and takes pictures in the Lower East Side, and his distinctive style has breathed much needed life into the somewhat jaded genre of nightlife photography.
Using his nightlife past as a springboard, Tamindzic’s current work revolves around the portrait. His approach creates scenes which reflect a fascination with the theatrical, the extreme, and that which is differently beautiful; if art ultimately deals with our individual relationships to each other and to the world, the fundamentals of how we see each other, and how our bodies coexist with one another and the objects around us, then this is perfectly embodied in Nikola Tamindzic’s portraiture, where the degree of intimacy established between the author and the subject – and the tensions such intimacy provokes – might be considered to be the true subject of his work.”
