Cocaine stashed in dryed prunes

Customs officers have discovered cocaine estimated to have a street value of £30,000 hidden inside more than 140 prunes.
HM Revenue and Customs at Coventry Airport, the largest parcel depot in England, said the find showed the “ever inventive” methods used by drug gangs. Each of the 143 dried plums contained 4.4g of the class A drug, totalling well over half a kilo. The consignment had arrived from Guyana and was destined for Spain. Officers searching each individual fruit found the cocaine wrapped in clear plastic. No-one has been arrested but investigations are continuing, a spokesman said.

Well I have to admit: this is the most ingenious idea of smuggling drugs I ever heard of. Though I think it will work better with coconuts.
